Desires of my heart

God plants the desires in our hearts and then allows our circumstances to chip away anything (i.e. pride) that is preventing the desires from becoming realities. Lisa wanted a mini van and could not even consider driving the camry let alone get down to one vehicle. Through time and conversations and realizations, Lisa is totally content in the reality that we now have one car - the camry - and that a mini van may not be around the corner. God plants the desire (i.e. live debt free) and then waits for us to respond accordingly. Responding may take weeks, months or years but we need to ask "God your will be done - not mine" and then we need to strive towards living it out. Run the race...
