The various challenges that seemed to command my idle moments now seem to be faint background music. This year I have been constantly coming before God in desperation and when that desperation subsides I have forgotten how to pursue Him. I need to work on my relationship with God so that it reflects my life not just my challenges. I need to make sure that my hands are doing great work for God irrespective of my challenges. I need to realize the fruit of the Spirit and use it to guide every moment of everyday. If I feel like I am floundering and am not fighting fires then I need to re-visit my goals and my plans (something that takes practice and habit). Everyday that I have been given I am to make the most of and not squander it - like the parable of the talents. God continue to light my path and keep me focused on you.
