Where I am...

Your mom and I have had quite a year.  As a result of the market changes that created various challenges with our business ventures and projects our personal finances were getting out of control and we had little confidence in knowing what the future held for us.  It has been during this time that we have re-discovered our faith in a whole new light.  Our business has been rebuilt with the hand of God and everyday I am learning more about this life I have been blessed with and the purpose for it.  I have come to believe without compromise that I was put here to serve God and to serve others.  This has been an incredibly strange adjustment for me as I have lived my life for myself and find that I am constantly battling my own selfish desires and wants.  Your mom and I continue to work away at our private charitable foundation and a project we undertook over a year ago that centers around using the community to help one person at a time.  As your mom and I look at our lives today, we are amazed at the journey we have been on and the road still laid out in front of us.  There is no question that God has been at work in our lives without our knowledge or understanding.  I can't believe I have gotten this far in my life without totally pursuing Him and His Word.  Reach out to him boys - you will not be disappointed.
