Bug Brown turns 10

What a weekend. Cole turned 10 this weekend and had a sleepover with Declan, Kaleb, Carter, Peton and Cade - it was quite a party. Everyone came by around 1 PM on Saturday and were later joined by Gramps, Uncle Chris and Jenne as well as Auntie Ashley and Uncle Daren. Around 3:30 Uncle Daren and I took all the boys to see the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (after a detour to the bank, a gas station and Costco - but that's another story) After the movie everyone came back here and played Minecraft, Clash of Clans and some other Minecraft type game. Maybe it was Pixelgun? We woke up this morning and everyone left around 10 AM. Cole was quite blessed with a tonne of Nerf stuff and money (like $150). I decided to call it quits early tonight and around 8:30 Cole came up to ask me if he could stay up until 10. I told him no because he had some late nights and needed his sleep. He said ok and left. Around 9:30 he came up to let mom and I know that he was officially 10! Turns out I misunderstood what we was asking. He was asking to stay up until he was 10 not until 10 :$ I love Cole so much and want the best for him. I thank God that He has him in His hands because I certainly can't be everything he needs. I wish I could be more and teach him more but I can't. Cole has so much to offer this world and I feel so blessed to have be given the chance to be his Dad. I am so proud of the boy he is and the man he is becoming. Happy Birthday Cole.
