God, this is my prayer today

God, I know that I am not perfect. God I know that I am a sinner and am incapable of being perfect. God I know that you sent your son to die for me. I know that you have overcome evil and that I have a home in heaven. God I want to know you and not just memorize your Word. I feel you working in my life but still keep falling short of the mark.  I can't deny the work that you have done in my life and yet I still worry and get wrapped up in my own thoughts and desires.  Lord, please continue to be patient with me and continue to stretch me.  I want to live the life you have for me - your will your way NOT your will my way.  Thank you for who you are.  I need to understand your love for me - it doesn't make sense to me.  Lord I am at a point in my life where I understand the difference between pursuing you and pursuing me.  Please help me to move closer to you.  God thank you for giving me your Word to learn from.  God I need what only you can do.  Please help me to put myself aside and pursue your will. Philippians 2:13 - "For it is God who is at work within you, giving you the will and the power to achieve his purpose"
