It's not about me

The ability to not focus on myself is my greatest inability. I have come to believe and understand that I am here to serve God by serving others - but it is a lot of work for me today to not be focused on myself. I am learning to be more patient with others and let God's hand guide my words, thoughts and action but I certainly get in the way of God more than I should. I can honestly confirm that the minute I redirect my own selfish thoughts into actions that benefit others, I feel more satisfied and fulfilled. Remember the fruits of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control. Put these into practice while serving others and your life will never be the same.
