Sudden disaster

Proverbs 3:25-26 - "Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared." I tend to fear so many things although not as much as I did once upon a time. This passage reminds me that if I give my life to the Lord and seek to live according to His words then I need to trust that any event that occurs in my life is happening to ultimately bring Him glory. Lord let me take refuge in your words and fill my heart with your Spirit so that I may walk today in the confidence that only comes from you.
