Thank God for BlackBerry

I have been a Christian for most of my life and in rediscovering God I knew I would need to get a hold of His word and examine it with fresh eyes. As with most business owners I have a slight addiction to my BlackBerry and set out to find a Bible that I could download and reference anytime, anywhere. The version I downloaded had a feature that allowed me to bookmark verses so that I could quickly reference certain passages that I was trying to memorize. The first three passages I bookmarked were: 1. Proverbs 3 verses 5 to 8 2. Philippians 4 verses 4 to 7 3. Psalm 23 verses 1 to 3 (I think everyone memorizes this one) These verses would serve as the starting point for navigating His Word to find the answers I needed. Thanks to BlackBerry and the Bible I downloaded I was able to enter words and see scriptures that contained those words - God did the rest. He continues to prompt me to certain verses that always seem so appropriate. I have learned to read a passage of scripture and let it roll around in my mind which allows God to fit it into my circumstances. I have often read a scripture in the morning and by the end of the day it fit perfectly into a situation and was a guiding light. I first thought this was simply a self fulfilling exercise then realized - of course it is! God wants me to understand His Word in my life and I need to live my life according to His Word.
